Dr Katie McKay BDS MJDF | Dentist

Katie qualified from Glasgow dental school in 2002 and joined the practice in 2006. She took over the practice in 2009 and completed her MJDF in London in 2012.

She has a keen interest in orthodontics and restorative work and is committed to further training in these fields. Katie is married to Herman and likes to keep fit, loves the outdoors and travels as much as she can.

Dr Iain Martin BDS MSc | Dentist

Iain graduated from Glasgow dental school in 2004 and joined the practice in 2010. He has a Masters degree in pain control and anxiety which has led him to do alternative treatments such as hypnosis and sedation.

He too has a keen interest in restorative work and endodontics and is currently training to place dental implants. Iain likes to sail in his spare time and is engaged to Natalie.

Emma Neill | Manager RDN

Emma is our practice manager.  She started working here in 2008 as a dental nurse and returned in May 2011 when the manager position became available.  Emma is a qualified dental nurse who obtained a merit in her exam.

She likes to keep up-to-date with training.  She is currently undergoing a management leadership course which she started in April 2012.  In her spare time she has taken a keen interest in snowboarding and painting.

Louise EDH | Hygienists

Louise has worked with the practice since qualifying in Jan 2005 . In 2006 she was awarded a diploma from the royal college of surgeons Edinburgh for achieving the highest exam results for all dental schools in the uk.

Louise enjoys helping patients achieve better oral health and especially likes helping nervous patients to improve there oral health and feel better about visiting the dentist. Louise is happily married to Alex and in her spare time she enjoys keeping fit by running…one day hoping to run a marathon.

Lynne EDH | Hygienists

Lynne qualified in Jan 2005. She has gained the Dentsply Instrument Prize for Clinical Achievement. She enjoys educating people in their oral hygiene regime and seeing the results from her and the patients input. She enjoys running and dancing to keep fit in between looking after 2 year old Cerys.

Lianne McAulay RDN | Nurse

Lianne started at the practice in 2009. She enjoys Oral surgery treatments and working at reception, meeting the patients. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, cycling and is an avid Harry Potter fan. Lianne  is excellent with nervous patients and a super member of the team.

Lauren Grant RDN | Nurse

Lauren joined the practice in August 2011.  Lauren is a qualified dental nurse and been qualified for 3 years. Since joining the practice she has completed an MA in Customer Service and has undergone training for Childsmile so she can answer any questions you might have have about how to clean your little ones teeth!  Lauren likes dancing in her spare time.

Stacy Rooney | Nurse

Stacy joined the practice in August 2012.  She is a fully qualified dental nurse with a bubbly personality.  Stacy is starting Cleanliness Champions course this year and has a keen interest in all aspects of the day to day running of the surgery. She is kept busy with her hyper puppy Rizzo
