I have been a dental patient at Byres Road Dental practice for about 20 years. I have since moved 70 miles away but continue to use Byres Road and would not wish to change my Dental practice to one nearer. This is due to the fact that I feel in very safe hands at Byres road throughout any procedure, from making an initial appointment through the polite, helpful and friendly reception team, to the excellent hygienist care, and most of all am indebted to a superb dentist who has always given me the best professional treatment I could ever wish for, and in who’s work I have 100% confidence. I have found in Katie McKay an outstanding dentist, who has consistently solved all of my dental problems with her wonderful friendly manner, competency and expertise.

Just a note to thank the staff at The Byres Road Dental Practice for excellent dental service and the friendly atmosphere. I have been coming to this practice for over sixty years with no complaints.

We have been patients at the practice since before Ian became our dentist and will continue in the future. The staff are all very polite and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Ian himself always takes time to explain the treatment required and answer any questions we may have. Not only does he deal with the current course of treatment but he will also, if necessary, discuss any future treatment that may needed so that we are aware of what may be required.

Having also had a number of cosmetic procedures including Invisalign and tooth whitening, we never hesitate to recommend Katie McKay and her team to our friends and family.

I have attended the practice since it’s early days and seen dentists come and go and retire! I am a patient of Katie’s since she came to the practice. My previous dentist infact recommended her! I always found her to be very relaxing, pleasant and chatty but never really had to experience her ‘real’ dentistry skills, until recently. Having had years of coming to the dentist for 6 monthly check ups, with nothing needing done, I was quite nervous to find out that I had an abcess. It was very painful. Katie treated it with such care and attention that I really felt very little over my treatment period. A few months after that I needed to get a tooth out. I was surprised that I did not even feel the tooth being extracted!
I would therefore have no hesitation in highly recommending Katie particularly and The Byres Road Dental Practice in general, both for their medical and caring care, which is just as important.
I would also mention that all the staff are particularly friendly and the practice has a great atmosphere, which is needed when patients can be nervous and distressed.
